The sun and dusk make up most of these images, with a few sunrises and night pictures too. This time of day produces some fantastic colours and gives the images more saturation, and it’s a bit magic.
These images come from all over the world, but many from just round the corner in Northumberland or the Lake District.
The sun tends to be redder at dawn and dusk, because it’s so low in the sky and has to cut through so much atmosphere to get to us, losing the blue parts of it’s light, creating a warm tone to these images, particularly in exotic places. |
