Dilston Castle
Evening sun through a very old window, Dilston Castle, near Corbridge, Northumberland. The castle, as you may guess, is unoccupied and has been for hundreds of years. It’s most famous owners were the Radcliffes, famous for their part in the Jacobite Rebellion of 1715. It is situated over looking Devils Water River, after which it was named, originally Dyvels-ton.
