Lord's Bridge, Devils Water, Dilston.
This 15th century bridge was the westerly entrance to Dilston Hall, Castle and Chapel.
The bridge and wall are the remnants of the large grounds and gardens that ran from the Hall to the riverside at Devils Water below. ‘Dilston’ is named after ‘Devils-ton’ or ‘Dyvels-ton’.
